The Boondocks Episodes :- A Huey Freeman Business

Huey was asked to direct the school Christmas play by his cultural teacher and he gladly accepts it, thinking it to be a platform where he can show everybody his idea about Christ and the Christmas.  Meanwhile Riley also feels that this is an ideal moment to take up his old complain against Santa. Next day, Huey finds that no body in the class is willing to listen to his directives and being annoyed, he decides to replace all the kids and have a casting director instead. There were massive objections from the PTA as their children were not being allowed to participate in the play.
Just days before the final screening Huey got into an argument with his teacher as he has named the play “The Adventures of Black Jesus”. The Principal requested not to portray Jesus as a black guy in the play, but Huey threatened to quit the play if his version is not allowed to play.
The principal allows Huey to continue with the play, but that costs him his job. However, Huey’s play was appreciated by all, including the local newspapers. But the audience was very thin due to boycott call given by the PTA.
