The Boondocks Episodes :- The trial of R.Kelly

The second episode centers around the trial of a well known singer named R. Kelly who has been accused of urinating on a minor 14 year old black girl. The Freeman brothers got divided over the trial. As Riley is a great fan of R. Kelly who feels that he should be freed, but Huey is of the opinion that law should take its own course and Kelly should be punished. In the courtroom, Kelly’s fans started dancing to his music and Huey puts off the music box to address the crowd.

Huey’s viewpoint was that every black person arrested is not a Nelson Mandela. His opinion is that if you are his real fan, give him some character counseling. In the meantime, lawyer Tom Dubois want to establish the crime of R. Kelly with all sorts of evidences. On the other hand, Kelly’s lawyer described the entire incident and the allegations to be a racist one. In the courtroom, a major fight followed among Kelly’s supporters and the group who is opposing them. Finally, R. Kelly was freed with much jubilation of his supporters. Everybody was happy at the outcome, except Huey and Tom Dubois.
