If you are one of those people who watch The Boondocks episodes without fail, then you would know how good a job Reginald has done. BET was progressing towards greater heights under his leadership. The entertainment division produced 17 of the top 20 highest rated shows of the network and this was the first time in the 28 years.

The reason behind this decision is yet to be revealed.

It’s really confusing. What might be the reason behind this decision?

Hudlin is returning back to his entrepreneurial roots and will now work as an independent producer. This news was publicly released by BET chairwoman and CEO, Debra Lee.

BET executive Stephen Hill, who is in-charge of music programming and talent, will be the interim president. This will be temporary – till the time another replacement is located.

Before going further, if you love Reginald’s creations, then you can watch The Boondocks episodes online.

Let’s get back to the topic.

Lee praised Hudlin for infusing BET’s program development with creativity and energy. She noted that his division produced the network’s high rated shows, including “Lil’ Kim: Countdown to Lockdown” and “Keyshia Cole: The Way It Is.” All these series exposed the tough lives of the music stars and how much they had to struggle to get to the top.

Hudlin’s great hits as director include, the “Everybody Hates Chris” pilot, production of “The Boondocks” animated series and writing the “Black Panther” comic book series.

“The black audience wants to be respected,” he stated to The Associated Press in a 2006 interview. “They want quality programs that respect their intelligence. It better be hip, it better be innovative and be as fresh as possible.”

Under Hudlin’s supervision, BET deserted “Uncut,” a late-night compendium of steamy music videos. The move was seen as the channel’s rejection of a humiliating lifestyle.

So, this was all about Reginald Hudlin, but you can still enjoy his directed series, because you can watch The Boondocks here, with superb picture quality.
